Archetype 2 – 2.33
The white flower tissue reflects sunlight enabling the plant to stay cool and regulate / affect local temperature in warmer conditions. The illustration was designed according to the Hausdorff cauliflower fractal dimension 2.33 using a free fractal software named Mandelbulb (http://mandelbulb.com).
This archetype is inspired by Daisyworld, a computer simulation created by James Lovelock’s (author of the Gaia Hypothesis). In the Daisyworld model populations of either white or black plants can reflect or absorb light and regulate the surface temperature of a virtual planet.
